  It take many forms depending on the situation,the level of knowledge possessed by listeners,and your own  abilities as a presenter of data.
SPEECHES OF DEFINITION_ It doesn't not just offer a dictionary definition rather a speech of definition seeks to define concepts in ways that make them relevant to listeners.                                                            INSTRUCTIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS_Throughout your life,you've heard classroom instructions,job instructions for the performance of special tasks.Not only have you gone through many tell sessions but you've also had people "show" you how to execute actions_how to sort various kinds of paper for  recycling,how to manage a counter at a fast foods shop.Instructions are verbal communications that explain processes,while demonstrations verbally and non verbally illustrates those processes.
ORAL REPORTS_is a speech that arranges and interprets in formations gathered in response to a request made by a group.Academic reports and other scholars announce their research findings in oral reports at professional conventions.
LECTURES_ increase the audience's understanding of a particular field of knowledge;they usually involve explanations and definitions.
THE ESSENTIAL QUALITIES OF INFORMATIVE SPEECHES ARE;
~clarity and limit your points_ confine your speech to three principal ideas,grouping whatever facts you wish to consider under the main heading.achieving clarity through word choice:you can develop understanding through careful selection of your words.use reiteration to clarify complex ideas in order to solidify it.
~use transitions to show relationships among ideas_ word your transitions carefully and make sure to indicate the relationship of the upcoming point to the rest of your ideas .
~keep your speech moving forward_rather than jumping back and forth between ideas,charging ahead and then backtracking,develop a positive forward direction.Move from basic ideas to more complex ones,from background data to current research or from historical incidents to currents events.
~keep your vocabulary precise,accurate_not too technical and simplify when possible as an audience bogged down in unnecessary detail and complex vocabulary can become confused.
